Indication

Dosage

RA, ankylosing spondylitis 15 mg/day as single dose. Elderly (long-term treatment) 7.5 mg/day. Acute OA exacerbations 7.5 mg, may be increased to a max of 15 mg/day as single dose. Patient undergoing dialysis 7.5 mg.

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to aspirin or other NSAIDs. History of stroke, cerebrovascular accidents, MI, CABG, uncontrolled HTN, CHF NYHA IHV.

Special Precaution

History & active peptic ulceration. Cardiac, liver & renal disease. Monitor renal & liver functions.

Oxpentifylline.
